Meet the Reviewers

jwrosesJerry L. Wheeler’s fiction, erotica and essays have appeared in a number of anthologies, most recently in  I Like It Like That: True Stories of Gay Male Desire, edited by Richard Labonte and Lawrence Schimel, as well as Labonte’s Best Gay Romance 2010 and Ron Suresha’s forthcoming entry in the Bearotica series. He freelances – what else – book (and porn) reviews in his ‘Mo Media column for Out Front Colorado, one of the largest and oldest GLBT publications in the nation and can also be read on Greg Wharton’s Invert(e) blog (www.inverteblog.com). He is currently editing Tented: Gay Erotic Tales from Under the Big Top (Lethe Press, 2010), a collection of circus erotica. You can contact him at pfloydian191@hotmail.com.

pic 3William Holden lives in Cambridge Massachusetts. His writing career spans 10 years with over 30 short stories of gay erotica and romance.   He has served as fiction editor for RFD Magazine, authored 5 bibliographies on LGBT literature, and has written various encyclopedia articles on the history of gay fiction and literature.  His current projects include a collection of erotic retellings of the Brother’s Grimm fairy tales, and a historical novel based on the sodomy trials in 18th century London.  He can be reached at wholden2@mac.com.

WayneCourtoisWayne Courtois is author of the memoir A Report from Winter (see www.reportfromwintiner.com) and the novel My name is Rand.  His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in anthologies, including Best Gay Erotica and The Lost Library: Gay Classics Rediscovered, and in journals such as The Greensboro Review and Harrington Gay Men’s Literary Quarterly.  He lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his partner Ralph Seligman.  Contact him at waynewrite@gmail.com

Gavin

Gavin Atlas grew up in New York and went to college in Washington, DC.  He has been a bookseller for Olsson’s and Waldenbooks and briefly worked in publicity for Put nam and Viking. He writes reviews for the Amazon Vine program and copyedits for various publishers. Under other names he writes literary and humor short stories, but as Gavin Atlas is an author of erotica.  His work has appeared in five anthologies, and he has had several shorts published electronically including “La Playita.” His collection, The Boy Can’t Help It, is forthcoming. Jameson CurrierJameson Currier is the author of a novel and four collections of short fiction, most recently, The Haunted Heart and Other Tales. His reviews, essays, interviews, and articles on AIDS and gay culture have been published in many national and local publications, including The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Newsday, The Dallas Morning News, Lambda Book Report, The Washington Blade, Metrosource, Bay Area Reporter, The New York Blade, and Body Positive. He currently blogs on the GLBTQ publishing community each month at QueerType.

    • Paul,

      Thanks for your interest and comments on our blog. We want to make this blog as inclusive as possible. Everyone has something to say through words and we feel that everyone’s creative outlets should be shared with others. Because of this belief, we do not have any guidelines for submitting materials.

      If you would like us to review a book, or short story, please email either myself or Jerry and we will give you instructions on how to mail your materials to us.
